DOF Tool Rental & Bearing Returns

Rental charge and dispatch deadline

For a DOF listing that expressly offers the IMS tool rental, the advertised initial charge is $399.99. A complete, eligible tool return qualifies for the advertised $300.00 refund. The tools must be handed to the return carrier within 15 calendar days after delivery to you. Creating a label alone is not shipment. Keep the carrier acceptance scan/receipt as evidence.

Request return instructions promptly and send the complete tool kit to the authorized destination using insured, trackable shipping. Ordinary return freight is your responsibility unless the order expressly states otherwise. Pack all components securely. Refund eligibility is reviewed after receipt and inspection; the return transit time does not make a timely dispatched rental late. No automatic late fee or new penalty is created by this policy. If a kit is late, damaged beyond normal intended rental use, incomplete, or lost, contact us; any deduction must follow terms disclosed with the rental and applicable law, and we will explain the issue before applying it.

Approved rental refunds are initiated within 10 business days after receipt, inspection, and approval. The separate voluntary merchandise return deadline does not shorten this rental dispatch period. Manufacturing defects and seller errors remain subject to applicable remedies.

Returning the unused bearing

When the M96 DOF product option expressly offers both bearing styles with a return of the unused bearing, that unused-bearing return remains available. Contact us within 14 calendar days after delivery for instructions and return the unused, uninstalled, complete bearing in its original packaging so it is received within 21 calendar days after delivery, unless the order expressly provides different terms. This is an express exception to the ordinary engine-internal exclusion.

The ordinary 20% voluntary restocking fee and customer-paid return freight apply unless your purchase expressly included a different offer. The refund is based on the amount attributable to the returned bearing, not the entire installed DOF kit. Keep the bearing clean, unmodified, and uninstalled. An earlier order's expressly agreed offer remains controlling.

Earlier purchases and your rights

These voluntary policies do not remove a warranty, refund, cancellation, withdrawal, or other consumer right that applicable law does not permit us to limit. Mandatory rights apply where they differ from these terms. New restrictions apply prospectively; the terms provided with an earlier purchase continue to govern that purchase.
