All of our TuneRS built 986 Spec Boxster racers are equipped with this upgrade to assist in reducing transmission fluid temperatures. We put our cars as well as all of the parts and updates we develop to the test on the track. Cooler operating temperatures are more favorable conditions for our transmissions and some clients have asked about this for their daily drivers / weekend DE racers so we can now offer the same kit to you.
While this kit is initially designed for the 986 it can also be adapted to fit on 996, 997 and 987 models. The only difference is that the 996, 997 and 987 cars will require a different mounting position. If a TuneRS race car and custom Spec racer is built with our Transmission Oil Cooler then we think you will want it on your Porsche!
Will require fitment and modification for installation.
TRS Transmission oil cooler kit for 986/996 Porsche.
This kit includes:
- Oil Cooler
- Oil Cooler Fan
- AN10 Fittings (not fitted to AN10 hose)
- AN10 Braided Hose (length of hose will be provided)
- AN10 In-Line Pre Filter
- Lube Pump
- Support Brackets
Will only work with manual transmission cars. Not for automatic/tiptronic.
