4 Point Bolt in Roll Bar for Porsche 996 / 997 models. Designed, developed and fabricated in house by TuneRS Motorsports. This roll bar is made from 1-3/4″x.095″ (main hoop) and 1-1/2”x.095” (structural) SAE 4130 Chro-Moly tubing that has been TIG welded for superior strength and rigidity. This Porsche 996 / 997 roll bar requires minimum interior trimming to bolt in, making it a true bolt in roll bar. All hardware is minimum grade-8 standard. The integrated harness bar allows the seats to move back, giving taller drivers some extra leg space. The harness bar is also in the perfect position to allow any seat belt harness to connect to it at the proper angle. Other bars have the harness bar sit too high or too low, giving too much angle on the shoulder belts which can cause severe injury to the individual in the case of an accident. Shoulder belts must run from the shoulders horizontally or down, at no more than a 20° angle, and our integrated harness bar has been designed to follow this racing standard.

The roll bar bolts directly to the rear shock towers for extra support and rigidity. Other bars on the market have a “two piece” connection point on the rear shock towers, where ours is one single welded component with an added support, increasing strength. The front of the bar bolts directly to the lower seat belt mounts. Other bars bolt directly to the floor of the vehicle, requiring drilling. Bars that bolt directly to the floor are also at risk of penetration if the vehicle has a roll over, not good.

Our bar utilizes our patent-pending “anti-penetrating” bar in case of a roll over. The roll bar comes painted color matched to your vehicle or can be any color of your choice or even bare metal.
