Swift Springs parent company, Tohatsu, has been winding industrial springs since 1924. Tohatsu then decided to get in to the auto racing market in 1996. Based on long-time experience dealing with coil springs, they came up with one goal: “We must make the product that will revolutionize the ones they see on the market now.” Keeping this goal in mind, they went back to the basics of coil spring design and asked themselves what is the most important factor that they would need to consider on this new project.
